Introduction
At Vizasound, your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy describes what we collect, how we use and share information, and the choices you have. By using our services, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
- Account & Profile Data: username, email address, display name, avatar (if provided), registration method (application, Google, Discord, Apple), email confirmation status, and basic account settings.
- User-Generated Content (UGC): your jingles and related artifacts (titles, lyrics, audio files, video files, cover images/prompt images, prompts and negative prompts, tags, language, aspect ratio, lip-sync settings, and other creative parameters), plus public/private and complete/in-progress flags.
- Activity & Engagement: creation timestamps, view counts or similar metrics, and interactions with your content.
- Payments & Credits: credit purchases and redemptions (amounts, currency, provider, date, non-card identifiers like transaction IDs). We do not store full payment card numbers or CVV.
- Support, Reports & Moderation: issue reports submitted by users (reporter, target user, linked jingle, issue text, status, assigned admin) and system error logs needed to keep the service reliable (e.g., timestamp, endpoint, request path, remote IP, throttle key, optional metadata).
- Device & Technical Data: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, operating system, referring/exit pages, and session timestamps (e.g., last login user agent) for security, performance, and analytics.
- Cookies & Similar Technologies: essential cookies for sign-in/session management, functional cookies for preferences, and analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser, though some features may not function without them.
- Communications: emails you send us, transactional messages (e.g., confirmations, receipts, alerts), and your marketing preferences.
- Data We Do Not Intentionally Collect: sensitive categories such as precise geolocation, government IDs, health data, or biometric templates.
How We Use Your Data
- Provide the service: create and host your jingles, lyrics, audio, and videos; manage credits; and deliver requested features.
- Authenticate & secure accounts: sign-in, session management, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.
- Create AI outputs: send your prompts/inputs to third-party generation providers to return music, images, or video you request.
- Improve performance & reliability: diagnostics, error logging, and quality assurance.
- Moderate content & safety: review user reports and enforce our policies.
- Payments & credits: process purchases, detect refunds/chargebacks, and maintain accounting records.
- Communicate with you: transactional emails (service, receipts, important updates). Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and you can opt out anytime.
- Analytics & product development: understand aggregated usage to guide improvements. We use de-identified and/or aggregated analytics where possible.
- Legal compliance: satisfy tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your private UGC to train our own models.
Authentication Services
You may sign in with the application’s native authentication or via Google, Discord, or Apple. When you use a third-party sign-in, we receive limited profile information (e.g., name, email, unique ID) in accordance with that provider’s terms and your settings.
Third-Party Processing
To generate or enhance content you request, we may send prompts and relevant input data to trusted providers acting as our processors:
- OpenAI and Google – language/creative assistance (e.g., lyrics, text, and certain image tasks).
- Mureka and MusicGPT – music generation (audio).
- Kling and Runway – video generation, image-to-video, or lip-sync.
- Payments – processed by payment platforms (e.g., Stripe; mobile stores such as Apple or Google where applicable). We do not store full card details.
- Email delivery – providers that send necessary transactional emails.
We share the minimum data required for each task, and providers process that data under agreements consistent with this Policy. See our Terms of Service for additional links and details.
Public vs. Private Content
You control whether a jingle is public or private. Public jingles (and associated metadata like title, cover image, and username) may be seen by others and can be indexed by search engines. Private jingles are visible only to you (and to our admins as required for security, compliance, or support).
Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies to run the site, functional cookies to remember preferences, and analytics cookies to improve the product. You can change cookie settings in your browser. Disabling essential cookies may impact the ability to sign in or create content.
Data Retention
- Account and UGC are retained while your account is active.
- If you close your account (see “Deletion” below), your content is removed from public view immediately and deleted from primary systems within roughly 30 days.
- System logs and backups may persist for up to 90 days, after which they roll off or are irreversibly deleted.
- Payment/transaction records may be retained as required by tax and accounting laws (often 3–7 years).
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics may be kept for product improvement.
Deletion (Close Your Account)
You can delete your account at any time from My Profile → Close account. When you do:
- Your account is deactivated immediately and your public content is removed from public view.
- Your jingles (lyrics, audio, video, images, prompts), tags, and associated metadata are scheduled for deletion from primary databases within ~30 days.
- Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups and system logs for up to 90 days, after which they are purged in the normal course of business.
- Records we must keep by law (e.g., payment records, fraud-prevention logs) will be retained as required.
Moderation, Safety & Diagnostics
To keep Vizasound reliable and safe, we log system errors (timestamp, endpoint, request path, remote IP, and limited metadata) and store issue reports submitted by users (reporter, target user, related jingle, issue text, status, assigned admin). We use this information only to investigate problems, enforce policies, and improve service quality.
How We Share Information
- Service providers that help us operate the service (hosting, storage, analytics, email, content generation, payments).
- Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
- Legal reasons to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.
- With your direction when you choose to make content public or share links externally.
We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States and may process data in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. EU/UK users can exercise GDPR rights; U.S. state laws (e.g., California) may provide similar rights including the right to know, delete, correct, and to not be discriminated against for exercising rights.
To make a request, contact us at support@vizasound.com. We may need to verify your identity.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.
Children’s Privacy
Vizasound is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. We will post the new Policy here and update the effective date below. Material changes may be notified through the service or by email when appropriate.
